ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
Limited Liability Company "Profistil" is aware that activities in the field of production and supply of wallpaper are associated with a certain negative impact on the environment and assumes responsibility for fulfilling the following obligations:
obligation constantly protect the environment and prevent its pollution as a result of production and other activities;
set environmental goals;
obligation comply with the legislative requirements and other requirements in the field of environmental protection in force in the Republic of Belarus that absolutely regulate production activities related to its environmental aspects , risks and opportunities and also require compliance with these standards by representatives of interested parties;
plan and achieve a reduction in the consumption of natural, raw materials and energy resources;
ensure a reduction in the negative impact on the environment by reducing emissions into the environment, waste generation and their maximum use in the production of work;
prevent the occurrence of emergency situations and minimize the negative impact of their possible consequences on the environment;
provide a preliminary assessment of the technogenic impact on the environment from the Company’s activities;
increase the competence and awareness of the role of the Company's employees in resolving issues related to environmental protection;
obligation ensure the involvement and interest of the Company's employees in activities to reduce environmental risks, continuously improve the environmental system
management;
strive for continuous improvement of the environmental management system to improve the degree of compliance in the field of the environment, continuous development and increase efficiency to improve the environmental performance of the Company in accordance with the requirements of standards 150 14001:2015, STB 150 14001-2017;
fulfill obligations to comply with the requirements specified in this environmental policy.
PHTHALATE-FREE
PRODUCTION
A phthalate-free approach to wallpaper production means using materials that do not contain phthalates*.
Phthalate-free plasticizers (DOTP*) used in production are harmless to health, safe for food and suitable even for children's toys.

HARMFULNESS OF PRODUCTS
*WHAT ARE PHTHALATES?
- Phthalates belong to the so-called semi-volatile organic compounds and are part of the classifiers.
- Plasticizers are used to process polymers, giving them softness, flexibility and extensibility.
- Evaporation in high concentrations can be harmful to health.
*DOTP
- DOTP (dioctyl terephthalate) is the main environmentally friendly plasticizer. This is a new type of green and non-toxic plasticizer.
- Our team has been using the phthalate-free plasticizer DOTP for more than 4 years.

- Use of environmentally friendly materials: the production of wallpaper from environmentally friendly and renewable materials, such as paper and other natural fibers, which can be recycled or disposed of without significant harm to the environment.
- Waste minimization: We minimize waste and recycle and recycle waste to reduce our environmental impact.

ENERGY MANAGEMENT
SAVE RESOURCES
- With the help of heat exchangers we
supply our production facilities with the thermal energy necessary for drying paints. Additional conversion systems allow us to use almost all of the generated thermal energy, for example, to produce hot water.
- In this way, we save additional energy and do not pollute the environment with unnecessary waste heat.
DEVELOPMENT
SCIENTIFIC DEVELOPMENTS
- To reduce the environmental burden on the environment, our company constantly conducts research in the field of waste processing and measures to reduce their amount.
- Through the use of new technologies in waste filtration and the application of methods for calculating paint consumption developed by our team, it was possible to achieve a significant reduction in PVC waste intended for disposal.
